Domiciliary Details

You can update your OPERA profile to indicate that your practice offers domiciliary services. A button labeled ‘Domiciliary Details’ will appear in the Practice Profile section, next to your "Practice Details." This feature allows practices providing domiciliary care to make this information accessible to patients who may need it.

If your practice offers domiciliary care, you will be able to:

  • Confirm your participation by ticking the relevant declarations.
  • Agree to share your practice details through the Find a Practice tool.
  • Specify which domiciliary services you provide.

Please make sure to select only the services for which your practice is officially commissioned to provide domiciliary care in your area. It is your practice’s responsibility to deselect any services if you are no longer able to provide them.

To declare your practice as offering domiciliary services, go to General > Practice Profile > Practice Updates and click on Domiciliary Details. A pop-up window will appear, similar to the one below. Select the relevant details and click Submit. If your practice does not provide domiciliary care, you can also use this section to confirm that you do not offer these services.

If you wish to remove your practice from offering domiciliary services, simply click on the ‘Domiciliary Details’ tab in your Practice Profile section. From there, you can either untick the services you no longer provide or select ‘No’ on the declarations to indicate that your practice no longer offers domiciliary care.
