Transfer and receipt

Most hospitals will enter their data and automatically send you the referral for your action - you will see it appear on your dashboard.  However, for patients that attend with a discharge letter - here is how to enter these data.

Recording the booking of an appointment

The following video shows the next process in the post cataract process - recording the booking of an appointment, or, for example, if the patient FTA or wishes to be sent to another provider. Where you select the option to transfer the patient to an alternative optical practice provide it is expected that this is due to a request from the patient or you have spoken with the optical practice prior to transfer.

Recording the clinical outcome of the assessment

This final video shows how to complete the final clinical assessment as well as the discharge options or sending the patient for an urgent appointment or second eye referral.
