Why does my referral say waiting?

You may occasionally see this icon on your referrals:

Your CUES activity is complete and the data have been recorded.  You can still view the the documents relating to the activity by pressing the blue button, including any written orders to download and print out.

The WAITING icon simply indicates that we have sent the referral to the patient's GP are are waiting for confirmation that it has been delivered by our Docman system.  Notifications are sent as none urgent documents and hence some GP systems collect these overnight, while others may do this on a weekly basis.  There is no need for any action on your part.

GP referrals for care, as opposed to notifications, are sent via a different route - as Action Required, and hence these should be picked up within 24 hours by the practice depending on their Docman system.
